This is one of the juicing recipes for those times when you're feeling a little nauseous. Ginger is known to stimulate digestion, as well as relieving motion sickness. It is also thought to soothe common cold symptoms, such as a runny nose or mild cough. I love the fantastic ginger health benefits.
The pineapple will give you some much needed energy, and also supply a bunch of vitamins needed to build healthy bones.
Ingredients
- 1/2 small pineapple
- 2cm of fresh root ginger
- 2 large carrots
Directions
Begin by chopping the pineapple up into pieces which will fit into your juicer. Make sure you cut the skin off properly, and remove the core also. Then simply push all the fruit through a juicer, and serve in a couple of glasses.
To make this great juice even more refreshing, throw the mixture into a blender with a handful of ice. It's perfect at the end of a hot summer's day.
