Mangoes are popular fruits and most commonly eaten. It is originated in Southeast Asia and being cultivated in tropical regions.  This fruit is available in plenty during summer season. The ripe mango fruit flesh is very sweet and unique in taste. Mangoes are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, providing good nutritional source.
Mangoes are good source for pro biotic dietary fiber, poly-phenolic flavanoid antioxidants compounds in addition to essential vitamins and minerals. The presence of antioxidants such as beta carotene, alpha carotene, and beta cryptoxanthin and Vitamin A, all contribute to improve healthy vision, regulates health of skin and mucus  membranes and prevents the oral cavity and lung cancer. The high content of potassium in mangoes regulates cell function and health of cells, prevents cells damage, controls heart rate, improves heart health.

Vitamin C Vitamin A and electrolytes such as potassium and sodium, and minerals namely iron, calcium,magnesium, copper, zinc and manganese and antioxidants namely, carotene-a, carotene-b, cryptoxanthin-b, lutein-zeaxanthin and lycopene, all together contributes to nutritional benefits and provides good health when these fruits are taken very often and added to the diet.
