Juice and Smoothie Recipes

 

Due to popular demand from my clients, I am posting my personal juice and smoothie recipes.
Please feel free to share them with friends and family. ENJOY!!!!

 

SMOOTHIES


Beam Me Up Banana

2   bananas (frozen)
1   cup of strawberries 
1   cup of vanilla rice milk 
2   cap full of Vanilla Extract
 4   tablespoons of Grade B Maple Syrup 
1/10   teaspoon of nutmeg  
Place all ingredients in blender, mix and drink.

Garden of Eden

½ cup of sliced strawberries
2   apples peeled, cut and with seeds removed
½   cup of blueberries
½   cup of peaches
¾   cup of natural apple juice 
¾   cup of natural orange juice
Place   all ingredients in blender, mix and drink
Make   sure you juices are not from concentrate

Just Dew It

1/2 Honeydew melon 
1 medium orange
1 medium peach, pitted
1/2 fresh pineapple chunks
1 - 2 cup ice cubes
Preparation: Start blender at low and increase slowly to high. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired smoothie-ness is reached.  It should yield about 2 servings (3 1/4 cups)

Gettin’ My Grove Back

1   cup of natural orange juice 
1   cup of sliced strawberries 
2   mangos peeled and with seeds removed 
2   tablespoons of Grade B Maple syrup 
1/3   teaspoon of Cinnamon
 ¼   Tablespoon of vanilla extract 
1   cup of crushed ice  
Place   all ingredients in blender, mix and drink

Morning Quickie

2   Frozen Bananas  
1   cup of sliced frozen peaches   
1   cup of natural apple juice 
½ sliced strawberries

Place  all ingredients in blender, mix and drink 

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

1 cup of pumpkin puree
1 cup fresh cut apricot or frozen.
1 tbs sugar
1 cup almond or rice milk
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 pinch of nutmeg
1 cup of ice
Blend until creamy. Depending on your sweet tooth you may wish to add another tablespoon of sugar.

Spirulina Smoothie

1/2 cup mixed berries (frozen)
1/4 cup orange juices
1 cup plain almond milk (vanilla or plain)
1 tbsp Spirulina powder
Place the berries, orange juice, plain yogurt and Spirulina powder in your blender and blend for a minute or until green and smooth. If you feel it still needs a bit of sweet try adding a 2 teaspoons of honey.

Orange Creamsicle

1/2 cup almond or rice milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup of orange 
2 Tbsp. honey or maple syrup (grade A or B)
1 tsp. vanilla
Ice (enough to make desired consistency)
Place everything into a blender, mix till ice is crushed.
 

 

Juices

The following recipes are to be used with a quality juicer only.

What’s Up Doc!

6   carrots
1   apple (remove seeds first)
1   celery stalk

Liver Lover

3 carrots 
½ beet 
1 cup of parsley

Beet it!!!!

- 1 small to medium size beet
- 1/2 apple
- 2 whole organic carrots
- 1 cucumber

Colds &Vampire Killer

1 Handful of parsley
4   carrots
2   celery stalks
3   cloves of garlic

True Blood(excellent blood builder)

6 carrots 
6 spinach leaves
½ cucumber 
1 tomato or 2 stalks of celery 
½  beet 
4 springs of parsley

Immune Booster

4-6 carrots ( depending on size)\
2 stalks of celery
2-3 cloves of garlic 
1 cup spinach    
1 cucumber
½ ginger
1 jalapeno pepper (optional) 

Anemia Eliminator

6 carrots
2 Beets
3 Celery Stalks
1 Tomato
1 Green Apple (optional)

Acne Basher

2 lemons
10 spinach leaves
3 carrots
½ honey melon 
½ Pineapple

Susan's Yum Yum

1 sweet potato
1 carrot 
½ pineapple

It's good for energy, immunity, digestion and skin. 

Detox Juice

1 cucumber
1 large cup of spinach
1 large cup of parsley
1 celery stock
1/2 medium lemon

The real V8

- 2 organic carrots
- 2 organic roma tomatos
- Parsley bunch ( Just a hand full bunch to taste ) or cilantro if you prefer that taste
- 1/2 cup of spinach
- 1 to 2 celery stalks
